Does Pgi Encourage Cowardice?

But true nonetheless, where are the brawlers arenas? Where are the game modes that will put some fun in the game, like capture the flag, king of the mountain, multiple teams and death match?
So in my opinion PGI is encouraging cowardice among player to stay in groups, hide behind better players etc...
What is your point of view on coward player and is it their fault PGI is so bad at making this game fun?
Thanks Park.

The players do that to themselves.

And brawling won't be more prominent unless brawling weapons are considerably overpowered compared to everything that does damage at 300+ meters. Now you hazard a guess what a shitestorm that balance change would create.

The key is to manuever behind cover and engage when and where it is to your advantage. Too many players charge straight at the enemy only to be cut to pieces by focused fire from 3-4 enemy mechs. That isn't PGI's fault, that is Darwin at work.

I was in a match earlier on Conquest... teams were dishing it out pretty even... we were dominating on caps though and it was clear we were going to win that way (sweet conquest bonus) anywho someone actually got on chat from our team and started complaining how we were gonna win on caps and that conquest is stupid blah blah blah...
There are all ways gonna be facehuggin rambos who are gonna complain there isn't enough variety.
I'd love a match mode, lights vs lights... meds vs meds etc...

Maybe the flag slows you down to 40 kph... There are a lot of ways to do king of the hill or capture the flag modes. The new 4 man mode they showed in the CW looks like a capture the flag mode to me. Get the information from the nodes then escape to the dropship.

I'm usually the first person to die trying to lead the team.
I will admit sometimes it works and its so fun it makes the crappy games worth playing.
I just hope that peeps learn to step up cause its really allot more fun to play assertively.

When the planets align, it's great to push in with some bruiser brawling team mates and get into a face wrecking brawl.

I never hid behind better players, now if you mean sticking with good players who are in assaults then I am guilty most of the time.

LOL! An "assertive" Rambo is still a Rambo. The game is Team and Rambo's are usually the first person(s) to die. Try being "assertive" while staying in range of the Team and see how that works.

But, but, a cool new game mode right? "King of the Hill" will have to be more Funner right? right? Or a Capture the Flag where when you finally get the Flag you are suddenly considered "Legged"... Fun times for sure. Right? right?

That's the question - how to make the supposedly more stupid thing a.k.a. brawling to be a legit alternative to the sensible thing to do, i.e. shoot from cover like what you do IRL? I think the answer is to make short ranged weapons FAR deadlier than their long ranged siblings. Or introduce melee!

You are sitting in a 18m walking deathmachiene of doom....and you want to brawl....
Yea....while there is a sad tendencie that all PuG gamemodes are handled like deathmatch by the players and this could be done better, I seriously hope devs at pgi read your post, fall of their chair loughing and loose conciousness as well as any rememberance concerning your post.
No seriously. This is NOT Counterstrike or any other sh...pile of game.
KI assisted missions even pvp missions yes but please, oh please I beg all creatures of heaven and hell no further King of the Hill, CTF and other childish army sports like game modes.
Just get CW in a working condition and add some singleplayer missions.
And it seriosly seems like they are doing exactly this.
And I love them for it.

Which part of PGI's "minimally viable product" goal did you not understand?
