So I just got the "Seriously!?" achievo, let me tell you I giggled a lot.
Then when I was going down the achievement list I noticed that somehow I got Seriously!? but not Liquid Metal. I mean I got highest damage on the team, otherwise Seriously!? wouldn't have triggered and I know I had 3 medium lasers blow out with my right torso on my King Crab and that took my arm and the (2) U-AC/5s attached with it. So that's 5 components not including the ammo (if those count at all, which I doubt).

Could it be that you only get 1 achievement per match or it is that Liquid Metal means you have to be critically hit 5 times losing 5 different components? And yes, I survived till the end of the match.

already submitted a support email, but hey I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on it? Google wasn't helping me much in this regard.

edits for tag searches for easier googles for other people: liquid metal bug ; liquid metal achievement ; mwo liquid metal ; 5 components ;

thats not 5 components..

for liquid metal, you have to lose both arms, both side torsos and a leg....while doing top damage and surviving the match5

So componets aren't the parts IN the mech, but the limbs? That's... not very clear, but okay. Thanks for the info.

yeah...components are head, CT, STs, arms and legs....8 total... everything else (weapons, heat sinks, jump jets, ammo, etc) are equipment and don't count for liquid metal

If you know you did huge damage, and you have someone that listens - you could always get a teammate to rip off specific components... At least that way you have a good chance of getting LM achievement.

Also, it -does- count a death right now as being valid. If you had top damage, and lost four components before going down (for a fifth component destruction) it will actually count it.
