Yes,my first battletech universe game was Mech Commander 1,then 2 and later Mech Assault 1 and 2 on Xbox. Now MWO.

MechCommanders were really good games. MechAssault... were pretty arcadey but at least that sets expectations for MWO to about right. Personally beyond MechCommander, I favor MW2, 3, and Crescent Hawks.
