The Draconis Combine didn't call it the "Great Death" for nothing!
Basically, it's the Clans' idea of an assault mech, so it's gonna do some serious damage. 2 ER Large lasers, a UAC/5, and 2 Medium Pulse lasers per ARM is a pretty good deal.
Though, personally, I prefer the variants dealing with heavier autocannons.

From my personal experience, the Atlas (with me behind the controls) wins every time: assuming I can modify my armament to suit me (and Ricardo Vecci or Robert Yearly [MW4 - Solaris arenas] don't spawn behind me, weapons ready). I kill Fafnirs all the time, with little effort (their torsos twist very slowly). The Fafnir is a slugger cumbersome, while the Atlas is a methodical fighter.

Fafnir and Daishi would most likely be the first to die - being both the most obvious threat and the least mobile/stealthy participant in a FFA is... unhealthy. My guess is Thor finishing off the Atlas as the last mech standing.

Nova Cat will be too hard pressed as it is slower.

There's a HUGE difference in battle between variants if it's in the city or in the mountains, open low hills or the arena.

Why no mention of the Blood Asp, Archangel, Pillager or Grand Titan?

In truth the lightest Mech would probably survive due to lack of threat value. IF the pilot used it wisely.

That arouses the question of Zellbrigen once again.
Aidan Pride tried to use his Nemesis/Thor/Summoner in this way and got shot down by his sibko Marthe Pryde.

Conclusion: Clan tech is wasted on Clanners, like youth on the young!

Now, if we're talking in MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries' terms, then I would have to say the Atlas. It just soaks up the damage in that game and keeps on dishing it out. The ECM is nice too.
Overall, however, the pilot skill and the terrain will be major factors. Medium and Heavy Mechs piloted by skilled people, in varied terrain, will win the day; I'm sure. The Thor would be a powerful contender, as would the assault-class Templar. Other Mech's not listed that would prove to be important contenders include the Thanatos, Ryoken, BlackKnight, Loki, Bushwhacker, and Catapult; in terms of Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries.
