Everyone who has played CW over the last 12 months knows how crippling a couple of pug players that either don't know what they are doing or haven't figured out how to turn on team comms can be.

I propose you have to be PSR 3 or above to solo pug in CW.

'Oh but that will limit the game features to new players' I hear you say!

Yes indeed, they need more practice in Quickdrop plus probs still need to master some mechs.

The caveat: If they are in a group they are good to go, nothing improves game play more then playing with other players, particularly those with more experience. As long as one group member is PSR 3 or above: good to go.

This should limit experienced players coping bad inexperienced pugs in CW and ultimately improve the CW environment

Tier 3 by itself is too generous.

No trial Mechs.

No-one who has played less than 50 matches.

No-one equipped with flamers.

Maybe they also have to pass a quiz about derp-rushing Omega in Counter Attack when you're behind on kills.

Your idea sounds like a no brainer. Even though tier 3 is the equivalent of a participation medal, they should at least understand the basics by then.
