And I have no issue with AMS. I think its fine. Its the AMS modules that are terrible.

I think most of the people who responded misunderstood the question. I wasn't asking about AMS itself, which has its uses, I was specifically referring to the module which increases its fire rate by about 10%. Why does that module exist when most would use their few weapon module slots to increase their range or DPS?
