For some reason I cannot use this feature since a few patches ago. The arms are the only thing that move when I press Left Ctrl.
Any clues? Thanks.

same here, got freelook remapped to Z. Guessing that's the issue?

Don't think so, I got Z for another function. I did not make any changes.

check..sometimes glitches happen and keys get remapped

I even tried Resetting all settings but still no solution...

You could try remapping it to another key ('g' or something) and see if it still doesn't work. If it does work, perhaps your operating system is holding the ctrl from getting to the game quite right maybe. Or perhaps your left ctrl key is dead, can you do like ctrl+c and ctrl+v to copy and paste without issues?

You could always try an email to support at technical@mwomercs.com they may have seen this issue before.

Or if you installed TrackIR or something similar, it may have no longer be activated by the keystroke (if keystroke has not been removed).

Nah, keybinding does nowt, hasn't remapped.

Free look *works* except it functions more as a Torso lock, can't look down and see my feet as it once were.

That explains why mine stopped working a year ago.

I have the same issue. Doesn't matter if I remap or map to a different key. Free-look just won't work for me.

In the end, if you have FreeTrack or something similar on your system and won't uninstall them, you can't use free-look in MWO?
