What's not to love? Heck, stock, the only knock is not enough MG ammo.

It's one timeline variant short, but not really an issue. They can fudge one or make up another PGI special.

I would not argue with a Nova Cat (or finally getting to represent my Clan officially) if it was on the final ballot. At all. I'd probably break my keyboard voting so hard. But those tonnage gaps we have could use some filling. :\

Hm...well, a worthile Assault Battlemech would at least be interesting.

Shame about the LowLander IIC, though.

Full XL400 capable, 45.5 tons of Pod Space (W/FF and Endo) at that no longer 71Kph speed (69.7Kph, apparently).
Same 5 heatsinks of the Whale put it at 40.5 tons, but 15 Kph faster.

One also has HoverJets, but 4 of them. Not all can mount Dual Dakka (without hardpoint inflation, Dual UAC10 would be nasty on the Main variant with 8E 2M 1B stock)


I don't think I'll be buying any other robots though...I think I'm done. Balance still makes me sad, but I've put a fair bit forward already.

All the Clan 40's are either overgrown Adders or have anemic pod space. Which is why I like the Phantom, personally. I mean, it's just so freakin' fast, and has enough energy hardpoints to boat half ton lasers to make up for its lack of actual space. PLUS comes with 12 DHS as opposed to ten. 0_o
