Downloaded game got through half of tutorial and sound went out. Did i hit a button? Check settings on computer seems to b good. No sound in game during multiplayer either complete silence. any help would b appreciated

Can you hear sound in other games/programs?
If not have you checked that your speakers/headphones are turned on and plugged in, this would not be the first time someone has somehow pulled the power cable or audio cable out of something like that, I used to see it every week when working IT support in a school.
unless you changed something in settings, or plugged something new in mid tutorial it is unlikely to be in game settings, however press esc to bring up the ingame menu or if you are not currently in a match it is the cog icon bottom right corner on the home screen and Mechlab, then go to audio settings and try the different input devices
