Didn't you click the link to subscribe your account to the newsletter, and then click again to activate the premium time?
If you're reading:
Then you're subscribed to the newsletter and you have 7 days active premium time.
The post says that a link below will allow you to subscribe and receive the premium time.
Below that they have a *copy* of the email sent out in the newsletter with a link to the premium time reward. At no point did they get my email address from me or tell me that I was subscribed to the newsletter. The link for the premium time has a generic message:
"Thanks for being a newsletter subscriber
We've added 7 days Active Premium Time to your account!"
For anybody logged into the website that clicks the link. To actually subscribe to the newsletter I had to go to the community page and use this box.
They gave the premium time to anybody who clicked the link, regardless of being subscribed or not. IF you care about the promised rewards from the newsletter in the future, head to the community page and sign up for the newsletter yourself.

edit: found it.
You can redeem this Premium Time only once, at any time until January 19th at 9:59 AM PST (5:59 PM UTC), at which time the link will expire regardless of whether you have redeemed your free Premium Time!
Think the question is if you do not click redeem now, are you able to redeem it after January 19th at 9:59 AM PST (5:59 PM UTC).

Ah, thank you. I assumed it just simply subscribed your MWO account's e-maill address, and then gave you the premium time... I guess PGI will always have troubles making things streamlined in that regard.

A nice compensation after the missing free premium time during the holiday season.
