You all are why vote multipliers and being able to change votes is such a stupid ******* idea.

"Oh that map is gonna win anyway? Oh that map has 0% votes for it?"

And that's how we get a 70% vote on Terra Therma, or whatever literally nobody in the match actually wanted.

I guess, it's a tragedy of the commons, is it? I'm not entirely sure. One person pursues their self interest (getting a big vote multiplier.) and hey, they get their map anyways, since it's got all the votes, but when more people do it, we all lose.

This is just the latest example in support of my idea that MWO is just one big social experiment.

if it wasnt for that vote multiplayer some maps would never come up. every game will be frozen city night and people would complain that there arent enough good maps.

I vote for Terra Therma and LITERALLY do want it. I've had good games there, and if you learn to play the map you can, too. Or, you can continue to avoid it and never learn how to play on it. Which makes it so much easier for me when you do get it. All you pansies that hate Terra Therma? I love it when you are on the enemy team, because every now and again a turkey shoot is good for laughs.
