Which one chassis would you prefer? At least 1 variant will be used for CW. I know that Gman in metamechs rate Quickdraw higher. Also TDR is now on sale.

Thoughts?

Quickdraw is faster and more maneuverable, Thunderbolt is more durable.

considering that what is better to you? I cannot tell you that.

Metamechs rates Quickdraw higher? Guess I better look at those quirks, 'cause I can't think of any other reason. They used to hate quickdraws.

Quickdraws do look to have slightly better quirks than Thunderbolts, although no longer as good as they were for this video:

I personally like the QKD-4G a bit better than my TDR-9SE. I prefer the mobility, but requiring an XL makes it more expensive, too. The TDR variants all have their distinctive builds with pretty little room for creativity, I suppose - the LLAS, LPLAS and MPLAS quirds on the 5S, 9SE and 5SS lock you into pretty specific builds...

Also, as great as a resource as MetaMechs is, don't put too much faith in it. Better to pick a chassis you click with than one that's rated a little bit higher, imho. I generally do better in a 'Mech that's based on a meta build and adjusted to my preferences than straight up copying a min-maxed build.

No question buy Thunderbolts immediately. Big laser alphas are what win CW. 260 tons enables a four T-bolt dropdeck.
