It used to be I would hit search, connect and then a minute later i was fighting. However now I have to sit through

searching......

searching.....

searching.....

Connecting.....

20 seconds of Voting

20 seconds of Splash screens

30 seconds of Loading screens

80 seconds of Waiting for the people to connect

WTH almost three minutes from the time I hit the voting screen to the time I can actually launch?

Why is this?

Why increase the damn wait times?

I am from Florida and I am not talking about the actual searching, i am talking about from the time we supposedly connect, almost 3 mintues worth of more waiting.

Your PSR is getting too high...

Higher your PSR the less pool of people you have to play with and the longer your match making times will be. The price of being amazing. I am glad to be a tier 3 normie, I get to play with everyone!

I usually get a match instantly. Like 0-5 seconds after I click the button.

I'm same Tier as you, I only play NA server (European server can cradle my balls)

Not sure what's happening to you, but it's not happening to me.

I have been seeing more disconnects than normal lately, that really drags things out.... Tier is a big one. I get 40ms to Oceanic and my wait times went from 5 minutes at tier 2 to 15 in tier 1. Removing mode selection helped, it's normally 5 minutes. Last week though it took 1 hour 39 minutes to solo drop in a medium. I gave up and play with 320 ping on NA and 350 EU now.

Idk what's happening to you but I get matches quickly. The voting, etc hardly takes a minute.

Not mine. My matches are faster to get from hitting play to dropping in match, than under the ELO system.

Rumor has it there is a big difference in loading & launch times with SSD vs traditional hard drives. My SSD machine has never taken more than 4-5 seconds, but that's too anecdotal.

Once upon a time you hit launch and it would search then throw you into the lobby then the map load screen. Now When you launch Its load screen, map vote, load screen, lobby that nobody ever clicks ready on, then map load screen and in some cases waiting to spit out of a drop ship on the new maps. Add all that time up and its likely 3 min.

I am talking about once you hit the loading screen to the time you can move your mech the wait time has increased to almost 3 minutes when it used to be under a minute.

I do not understand why. Once you hit the load screen your suppose to have all players connected so they vote. Yet apparently this is not the case.

So once again why are we being forced to wait even longer for matches than we were just 3 to 4 months ago.

Ive noticed it recently.

I get matches quickly enough, but the wait leading up the the drop seems to be taking longer.

I usually have Netflix streaming on my other monitor so I barely notice the wait times
