AC/5 vs. UAC/5...
Numbers in mechlab are all the same except for a tiny smidge of range. Both show a 1.66 rof, dmg same, velocity, etc... Only AC/5 takes less to slot.
UAC/5 says faster rate of fire but both are 1.66cd? I am confused here. What is the diff other than price, range, and jamming? I don't seem to see any.
Correction 1.66 cool down (to me that means rate of fire)

I Has Confusion

The AC is single shot, reload shoot, like a bolt action Rifle... The Ultra Autocannon (UAC) can be fired again during the cool down, at the risk of jamming, like a semi-auto Rifle.

Ultra Autocannon can be shot another time when they are reloading. But it might jam thus taking longer to reload. Autocannon 5 cant be shot twice. You always have to wait for them to completely reload to shoot again.

Ah I see. Had noticed that since I ran x4 on KGC. All in all it just seemed that I was putting rounds down range at the same rate between the two. Guess my mouse fingers need to go to the gym...

If you hold down the fire button, it'll just fire exactly as an AC5. If you tap the fire button quickly, it'll fire again during the cooldown.
The tapping is required, as it used to be that holding the fire button down would cause them to shoot twice. This resulted in it being very difficult to get full DPS out of them without risking jams.
