Reseting Build

One is about reseting build of a mech to default and basic configuration.
It could be very nice and for another reason it's because on an heroes mech build it seems to be impossible to find back original omnipod that make the mech unique.
By a mistake i change omnipod on my heroes chassis and now it look like it's impossible to find back the original omnipod...
I understand the reason that we cannot find these omnipod on market but without reseting function, heroes mech build can be change but not change back and so destroyed.
Maybe it's possible but i don't know how, so tell me if it is.
It could be nice that this game continu to live because it's a mmo. Mechwarrior for know offer kind of unique piloting experience. It sad to leave it.

Then again, the vets have been asking for saved configurations for three years, cause swapping engines and weapons and modules between mechs is so damn tedious, but so far no luck. Such fundamental mechanic is sadly missing from the game.

Depending on any other changes you may have made... IE: Endo steel upgrade etc.. you may not be able to return to stock unless you reverse those changes as well.
There is no button that returns to stock loadout... but no equipment, weapons, or pods are restricted. Meaning despite the fact it can be infuriating to return to a stock loadout...everything you need should be In your inventory or purchasable with C-bills.
We may be able to help if you are more specific with what mech you are trying to work with.

The left arm is the: "B" Omnipod
The Right arm is the: "C" Omnipod
You probably have those in your inventory. If you were looking for the "prime" arms it would explain why they are "gone" you never had them because the stock Arctic Cheetah Champion variant doesn't come with them.

So it's not necessary to buy the champion with MC to make the build. Just use prime chassis and change arm omnipods...

Smurphy doesn't fix the fact that the mechlab is terribly designed, missing core features (saving loadouts) and takes minutes to save for some users

Of course you don't. Set bonuses are based on having all the omnipods match the Center Torso's designator (Prime, A, B, etc.), not on being what the mech had when you bought it. Champions will always grant an XP bonus and you can tweak them to give you a set bonus as well. Champion mechs with omnipods generally do not come with matching sets of pods, the mix-matched set of omnipods is used to gain optimal hardpoint layout (and avoid negative quirks from certain pods).
Also, "Hero" and "Champion" have very distinct meanings in this game. A "Hero" is a mech with different hardpoints and stock camouflage from other mechs of its chassis and grants bonus c-bills. A "Champion" is a remake of a stock mech using weapons and equipment tailored for use in MWO (most mechs' stock load outs are from table top Battletech, which uses somewhat different game mechanics, making those mechs less than optimal for MWO play), as well as granting a bonus to earned XP.
If you ever want to view a mech's stock loadout you could go to the Smurfy mechlab (a community made tool), select the mech in question on the left, hit the "Tools" button on the top right, and select "load stock loadout". Or, you could go to the in-game store, select the mech, and the stat pop-up in the lower right should have a "view in mechlab" button.
