So do you really think, that Gargoyle is ok? An assault mech with a load of medium one? Compare it to IS assaults like Stalker, Battlemaster, Banshee, Awesome?

And what about Nova, which is as fast as Timber, Jaguar and Hellbringer, but has 2 times less load? Executioner has the same load as Timber and Jaguar, but is bigger, than Atlas. Warhawk has a load of assault, but less hardpoints, than Cheetah.

It almost looks like a lot of clan mechs were intentionally worsened to the state of idiocy.

Of course there are players who can do a lot of damage even on Gargoyle. I know one. You can shoot off one leg of his mech before the match, and he still will own 90% of MWO players.

Yes, Gargoyle is an OK mech. It is a tanky mech and a good brawler. Not as good as Stalker, or Banshee, but definitely better than Victor, or even Awesome.

Nova is deadly with its lasers when used right, and is one of the best Medium poptart when using CERPPCs.

Sexecutioner is a surprisingly mobile Assault that can do the damage as well as take the damage.

Not one of the above three are straight up bad. If anything, they too got quirk buffs, and more buffs will come in them next quirk pass.

I've been playing EVE Online for 8 years, and in that game CCP watch regularly for what ships are popular and what aren't. If people don't use some ships, it usually means those ships suck and should be buffed.

I've being playing MWO for a month, and I've seen Ice Ferret the whole one time for this period of time. And it was me, who tried that piece of ****.

I've seen Summoner perhaps 4 or 5 times, the same can be said about Gargoyle. And I'm not sure, have I ever seen all those Clan lights, whose names I don't remember (of course I don't mean Cheetah).

Considering how "rich" the Clan mechs' range in the game is, it's just crazy, that half of them are a totally useless bullcrap.

I mean developers ask players all the time, what new mechs do people want. It looks like a derision, that they think about new mechs, while they haven't fixed old ones.

Because the person in charge of balancing the game has an arrogant, 'i-know-best' attitude.

during tukayyid 2, clan heavies were used more than all other clan weight classes combined. Youd think that would send up a red flag or something about how the weight classes arnt even close to balanced.

clan heavies are so superior to the other clan weight classes its not even funny. yet PGI seems to refuse to fix the problem by revising the skill trees so each weight class has a unique skill tree, so they can buff/nerf each individual weight class without affecting the other weight classes.

Why would anyone compare the Gargoyle to higher tonnage IS Mechs? It is 80t. It compares to the Victor and Zeus, both of which are not stellar performers.

Unlike the IS equivalents, Gargoyle gets a survivable XL engine, and Omnipods which enable it to carry more weapons, and mix and match loadouts. It's not an outstanding performer, but it's not junk, either.

Again, it's 50t Mech. Why would you even think it would have a comparable load to 65 and 75 tonners?

It does have a HUGE number of hardpoints, lots of Jump Jets, and it's absolutely lethal in close-range configuration.
