the web show Tested featured this guy Jacky Wan who made 3-D printed mechs using the game's assets (edit later to put forum link to thread on how to)

He says in the video that he hand-painted all of the decals on the JNR, lotta fine detail in there.

All in all, great publicity for MWO and PGI. There's a lot of folks out there who just learnt their <insert appropriate term of affection> franchise is still around
