As an ex-smoker, you should know that people didn't smoke to look sexy or hip. Sure, that happened in advertisements but don't ******** yourself into believing people only did it for appearances.

As someone who had a three pack a day habit to deal with stress, nerves, and the general urge to kill everyone around me, I could sympathize with a FICTIONAL character that smokes because their life is largely the stresses of constant battle. I'm sure what nicotine does was the least of her problems.

and yet the reason people add cigarettes to "art" tends to be the same reasons as advertising. After all, I'm sure that FICTIONAL stress has better cures in the 31st century.... I doubt people were living to 125 on average because of their 2 packs a day of Space-Camels. Posted Image

Seems like you haven't quite nipped that stress/psychosis thing in the bud yet, but congrats for trying.

One can't GO crazy if that is where one permanently resides.

"Normal" is a lie boring people make to feel better about themselves.

Are you sure? Had she not have asked that Summoner for a light, she might still be alive.

After returning to the Falcon Guard just in time for the Refusal War, Joanna managed to kill Natasha Kerensky by incinerating the cockpit of Natasha's Dire Wolf with the exhaust from her jump jets. This feat secured Joanna two lines in the Remembrance.

In the end smoking, errr being smoked ended her.......

Smoking, still bad for you even in the future
