I get that it factors in, I'm just not sure HOW it factors in exactly.

It should mean that as time progresses the daily peaks will represent an increasingly more stable population rather than new people coming and going, right?

I'd think so. I just think it will take a lot more time for that to happen. But I have no idea how much time that will take. maybe something like robocraft could give us an idea. It's the closest thing to MWO that I can think of.

That's funny. I haven't seen much trolling at all. Most of the teamkilling and shouting matches I've seen are a direct result of the mode voting system. There were MANY less fights back when people didn't get stuck playing conquest against their will (or playing assault with people that base rush for 50 point wins).

I experienced mindless team-killers in CW after Steam release too. Sure they will be banned soon enough, but they will just hop on to another account and do the same thing all over again. To prevent such douchebaggery, WE NEED ALL ACCOUNTS TO HAVE PLAYED AT LEAST 500 MATCHES IN ORDER TO BE QUALIFIED FOR CW. Posted Image

Allowing trial mechs into CW was a huge mistake on PGI's part.

I agree!

I also think that PGI should initiate IP bans. Ban the IP address of said reported player.

I only experienced it once but word was they had been dropping all night. (I was doing random midnight pug matches against the clans) and they were dropping in trial champion crabs at first drop and literally jeopardizing the entire match. Was rather awful, decided to go back to public que after reporting so i didn't land another drop with those fools.

... seriously what kind of lower life form has NOTHING else better to do. Go spray house cats with windex or something you weirdos.

This. So many games I wish the developers would enable this on.

I would write it all the same even if I was T3. Allowing fresh accounts to enter CW using trial mechs is stupid on PGI's part.

Just one question, how have you been playing this game 2+ years and never run into any of the raging intentional TKers? It's literally impossible unless you only played group queue the entire time.

The player base is/was just not large enough that you would have never ran into them.

Never ever this will happen before the IPv6 (or a later one) becomes the only available IP version. Right now many have dynamic IPs (due to their ISP making it that way as the number if IPv4 is severily limited, we at our institution have ran out if IP few years back, and it was a problem).

Plus in private networks covering many households (in my town a few years back we had a LAN covering entire town) there usually exist a single gateway router with a single IP on it. You can't trace past it. If you ban it, you also ban every one behind that router also.

So, no IP bans. For those specific reasons - gateways for large networks and dynamic IPs.
