Wondering where it stands with repeat TKers.

In 3 of 8 matches I have been on the same team with a player who likes to kill his lance before things get going. 2 other players have already complained when they see him in ready room.

He will not engage enemy (assuming we get that far) and continues to attack the rest of us. 1 player walked backwards until the TKer passed bc of previous problems with this guy.

I decided to record the last one and when he started firing at us I blew his head off. I of course took a nasty hit and no XP etc.... I reported him all times...

Not sure how the name/shame policy works....but I feel this guy needs to be "exposed" for the rest of the community to know what to expect when they see him.

I can deal with a punk kid popping shots at me or team for a game....but not consistently to the point where I am going into combat already in critical...

I don't see where this garbage player should be protected by any policy within the player community.

Report the chump. If enough people do PGI will take care of it. Do not name and shame in the forums, because the only one that will hurt is yourself.

Does name / shame even apply to live matches? I've never worried about in the few times I've had to warn people about repeat TKers

My opinion and others may disagree -

Post the video
Post his name on reddit with the video
Post his name in chat anytime you see him in a drop - before the match starts.
If you ever see him TK, even if its a possible accidental one - report him and encourage everyone else in the match to do so.
Then report him via support email with screenshots/video.

I still see people that are known intentional TKers running around with (L) mechs and other purchased mechs, so I honestly don't think PGI does anything about it. Until they decide to take an actual stance on this and ban people who do this along with their main accounts, I'm in full support of off site name and shame.

Just use the in-game reporting tool by right-clicking the offender's name on the match scoreboard.

Think about it:

If they allowed Name and Shame, as some dufuses would support, then anybody who doesn't like you or your opinions could just start a TK thread about you and how you're a foul player. There would be no way to sort the legit claims from false claims. THAT is why we have no Name and Shame here.
