You could say this map is polarizing the playerbase? :D

Thank you, I'll be here until Thursday.

I'd prefer the map if it was like Mordor!

I just like to watch the clouds go round and round. NASCAR clouds! Which one is gonna win!

And the crowd goes mild.

I'd say the map got a cold reception.

Although the majority of the players love the map after playing it a few times.

I love the map personally. The reactions in group queue have been overwhelmingly positive, the reactions in solo quick drops have been "Heh that was fun." to rage tantrums 'cause someone skylined themselves and got NARCed.

It seems the map is REALLY going to force teamwork and seriously punish lone wolves.

I played three or four matches on it last night. I enjoyed playing on it. But it wasn't just complete NASCAR for my matches either. Only one or two started with NASCAR but then we got around to engaging in a fight and that stopped. Two were pug matches, one or two were group (not twelve mans) drops.

So far I like it. Play smart and use the cover which is present.

I chalk it up to the kiddies need a diaper change if it gets to hard on anything from a map to I cant shoot his leg.

Personally I like all the maps PGI has made from the old to the new buggy or not and would like to still play all the maps in solo MM or CW.
I hate the vote system and would prefer a AI controlled rotation of maps and game modes and if PGI wants there map pic still in there place it after the AI has picked the map and game mode.

I think the map is quite okay. It's not among my favs, but there I still other maps I hate way more. Maybe they can scale down the size a little bit but overall it's fine.

The higher the tier the more appreciation for the map.

Go figure.

Groan...

No more "polarized" than the final chapter of "Life is Strange" Posted Image http://store.steampo...com/app/319630/

But seriously, I really like the new map.. it will take a while to learn all the cracks and allies to use for brawler pushes.. I think it has a ton of potential.. I just need to take my spider in there and play for a couple hours.

The only thing I would change is to add more stuff in the middle. Maybe a crashed spaceship, or the bones of an enormous ancient beast.

It requires some thought to do well on that map. Charging the middle tends to go poorly.

Hence why a notable part of the playerbase dislikes it.

If one has to think, can't solo rambo, and have to wait more than 30 seconds before Pewpew, dakkadakka, swoooshBOOM!" it's boring and pointless to you average twitch CoD kiddies.

Tactics and coordination are for old boring farts.

I just want wandering Wampas, a couple destroyed ATATs...er Goliaths scattered about and for Airstrikes to be delivered by T47 Snowspeeders. Is that too much to ask? Posted Image

Haven't you figured it out yet?

It IS Mordor. At least the bones of it are. They flattened the volcano, poured snow on it to cool the fires and removed a dominating feature, and viola!!, a new, much better map.
