Question about Polar Highlands - anyone had any luck taking a Dire Wolf onto it? I'm trying to level my T-Bolts right now, but plan on jumping in my Dire Wolves again soon. I'd imagine you'd want to pack plenty of long-range weaponary to make up for the Whale-like top speed.

I take my KGC, current build isn't too much faster than a DWH, BUT, with the DWH's speed, you will have to work HARD keeping up with the team, and/or reminding them not to abandon you.

I have this setup, 4xCERLPL 3x10 CLRM for my whale, its great for CW, I think it would be great for the new map as well.

The KGC can work really nicely with peek-and-poke lasers/missiles, too.

In the matches I've had so far on Polar Highlands, we've had no trouble with slow assaults, and in fact have benefited from spreading out some.

NARC is damned lethal on Polar Highlands. There's little cover that can protect you from NARC rain - it's easy enough to break LOS, but if NARCed you're in for a really bad time.

Does an ECM carries Umbrella break/cancel a NARC beacon on an Ally? Think so but can't remember...

It used to, and I'm pretty sure it still does, BUT, narc'ing an ECM carrier cancels the ECM umbrella for the carrier only.
