Hello again Forum Warriors!

As promised in December SWOL has come to give you the balance test that no one requested.

As taking planets for Wolf really means nothing for us right now (sick of map resets) we now spend a good portion of our time fighting ourselves in CW. We're sick of killing pugs and most units with the exception of MS, NS, KCOM and a few others are just cannon fodder and we would like a challenge once again. As such there is no better way to skill up our new guys while having fun by shooting each other. We have enjoyed testing all the new clan srm/autocannon meta and seeing how it compares to your typical IS play.

We largely found that IS is favored on most maps involving any sort of distance or on the extremely hot maps. As a disclaimer, while both side featured a few mechs on trials the IS side did a couple more experienced veterans. Most CW play is not 12vs12 so a few unoptimized mechs on both sides is more typical of what you would see in a CW match.

Please enjoy our testing of balance and flame away below! And before any of you go there we don't throw games when we do our cross training so there is no violation of the TOS.

We're planning on doing continual cross training till CW Phase 3 comes out so perhaps we'll post a few more videos as some point.

you guys are an inspiration, a group of honorable people refusing to feed on the lesser and using the current mess that CW is to the best advantage: testing the balance of several aspects of the game to contribute valuable input to improve it for all.

/salute

Everyone in my unit is just getting burnt out of fighting pugs in CW. To a certain extent it is nice as we normally have a lot of new guys at any given point but on the other hand in many instances we get a full 12 man that knows what they are doing together and then it is just a complete stomping.

I don't like beating up someone who barely knows how to play the game. All it is going to do is make him want to quit playing and lower our player base.

Here's a thought. If you want a challenge, don't play CW.

Why are all these matches with Inner Sphere on defense? You know defenders have an advantage in CW even in Counter Attack.

I'd also like the see the players switch from clan to IS and from IS to clan and watch the results using these first matches as benchmark

So you want to Prove the Other side is stronger than you? EsPez. Simple lose some Games and try telling you did your Best. What should that prove? Lol

The Grand Test. Lol
