IF, I purchase a Zeus from A LA CARTE from the resistance package, do I also receive choose 1 faction, badge and title?
The information I found, is simply unclear about this.

the rewards are specificly for if you purchase one of the named packs, PGI origionaly added the a la carte option to the Clan invasion pack so people could get the Storm Crow or Timber Wolf without having to spend $180 or more, a la carte exists so you can just buy the top end Mech without "wasting money" on the lower end Mechs, it is in PGIs best interests to get you to buy the full pack so the rewards are just for if you purchase a full pack.
sorry

depends, i for once used a-la-carte to buy mechs two times.
For example i bought hellbringer a-la-carte. i paid less then i would have paid for a package. I simply did not want to spend more money for mechs i don't want to pay for.
But usually, it's the "pay more. get less" sour tasting dark side of PGIs package sale concept.
I really hope it pays out for PGI.
Thought, i found myself more then once not purchasing because of the "play more (same) to get less" feeling of lower tier packages/a-la-carte/after early rewards packages.

High placed mechs in the Clan wave 1 is probably the only mechs I could see an argument made for.

yep, bought timberwolfs from wave 1 a-la-carte.
The whole package thing is flawed (in my opinon), you want the light? the light only? Sure! 20$ package, including camo and goodies!
Hu? you want the heavy? only the heavy?! no can do.. well i suppose you can have it for 35$ instead of 20$ but without camo or goodies or early access rewards.. deal. with. it. (filthy 2nd rate customer... seriously..)

And am I understanding it right... That if he buys say, the crab, he'll get those variants and the Maulers for $30?

OmniMechs are $55, Regular are $35 compared to $30 and $20.
It is only worth it at Tier 3 and up. Tier 1 Light is cheaper at $30, Tier 2 Light & Medium, just sell off the Lights and get the Mediums and 3 MechBays.
Now we have these Unseen releases priced like the Urbie, $20, get a Heavy with 3 variants. That would mean a OmniMech done this way would be $30, $60 for the 4th extra one. Both are better than A La Carte.

$35 for the Mauler MAL-1R MAL-MX90 MAL-1P
$35 for the Crab CRB-20 CRB-27 CRB-27B
Each is a separate A La Carte purchase.
Only the first 3 variants listed. Could buy the 4th at the later date when they come out for C-Bills.
Could also do what I said above, $40 for Wolfhounds and Crabs 3 of each, sell off the Wolfhounds keeping the 3 MechBays for something else.
