This looked like an easy challenge, and most of it is but I am having trouble with one part, the 3 victories on Polar Highlands, I had everything else finished before getting the first victory, and in almost 2 hours I have been unable to get the second, even getting a match on Polar is challenging as it does not win the vote when available.

I would love to know if the Marauder is getting the same treatment as the War Whammy?

Cause it seems hardly fair to leave out one Re-seen and just do the others that follow suit.

The event was great; I loved it. I didn't get any Warhammers myself, but I liked the event because it caused a 'spike' in warhammers and polar highlands being picked so often. Having these kind of 'shifts' or 'spikes' in gameplay change it up and make things refreshing.

A lot of people complained "ugh too many warhammers", but they missed the point. Yeah, it will be warhammer central for the first week or so, then things will morph back to the usual mix of mechs.
...And "ugh too much polar highlands". What better way to get used to the map and learn it? Having a 'new map binge' helps you learn it and, again, after the first week or so, it will be back to the usual mix of maps.

Also, it was nice to throw a few C-Bills and especially a siren to us non-warhammer players. I certainly appreciate it. Oh and the 'Cicada' Challenge Event III, I was very happy to win a 340 XL engine, thanks.

Great event, well done PGI.

It would seem that ship has sailed... more likely they're dangling this as a carrot for those that have not yet purchased the rifleman or archer...

Marauder leaderboards have already been done, as part of the Holiday Leaderboard event.

if players played hard for several days they are now choosing another maps. I just began to do the event, how often will I get the required map?

How do you get the paint job depicted on the event page? because it is similar to Applejack, but does have differences.

after like 10 matches i had 2 polar map in voting and not a single time it was chosen. how should i complete the event?
P.S. wow, 1st time for quite a time everybody chose polar map... and the team lost 11-2 (with 1 DC in our team)

Form a group of people who need Polar Highlands and will vote for it, then hope for the best? I've been getting Polar a ton this weekend, even once I got my wins and started voting for other maps.

Well then, we're in the same boat. I vote for something else, and they vote unanimously Polar Highlands. All I can say is: Drop all your tech stocks and can foods, & invest In LRMs!

Great event except for two small issues.

1.
The players voting down the maps. I'm still trying to get that 3rd elusive win, but as i've played it that little down to other players voting it down, im not getting much of a chance at it. And when it does come up, my side normally gets steamrolled. sh*t happens on that side.

Vagabond Camo scheme. Virtually identical to....... the Camo that you get with the Warhammer pack for early access. Polygon.
So that's two Camo's I have that I won't use. And even if i did, I only need the one because they are so similar.

Perhaps offering a camo of your choice, or something that ISN'T VIRTUALLY THE SAME as one you already have?


That's my only issues with this event.

Yup as always the most challenging part of the event is getting the map needed (and getting the victories on that map). It was an otherwise great event except for the hours spent trying to find 23 other people who wanted/needed to play on polar highlands. PGI please either give us our choice back for these events or stop giving us conditions that revolve around random luck/things we cannot control ourselves (in this case rather than 3 victories on map X the condition should have just been 3 victories)
