Funny how with 1800 mps projectile speed and 11.25 heat ER PPCs still suck.

I have been using a similar build for a long time. Problem is that at those distances, it so much easier to hit with lasers that you will probably do more damage overall with them, even if you get a few nice hits in with the ERPPCs.

Though personally I run mine with two ERPPCs in the torso and one on the arm. No Endo or Ferro. You can fit 22 DHS (inc engine ofc) in it that way.

One gun in the arm is almost a must considering all the UAVs and LRMs in the game at the moment.

Eh, I've been hitting with them fairly consistently. I actually switched the build up to try it out, went with 2 ERPPC, 2 ERLL, and 3ML

BJ-3 does it better with 2 ERPPC you get JJ'S and a much smaller profile, great sniper with only 10% less velocity than 8Q

At that range you can see them coming and simply torso twist away to dodge.

1800 mps is actually quite fast, it's just you do only 20 damage with each shot (if you hit), not worth the effort.

You can dodge them now at 1000m, double that and it's even easier.

It takes .55 sec for 1800 mps ER PPC projectile to reach target at 1000m. Average human reaction is .35 sec. I doubt that avoiding it is as effortless as you described.

Every time someone strips their AWS-8Q of its arm-mounted PPC, God lets a kitten get run over by a car.
