While playing MW4 today, i stumbled across a mech that i did not know exsisted, after sarna'ing it, it turns out it is actualy a medium mech in canon, while in mw4 its a assult.
The mech i speak of is the Talos, this thread is not to talk about if its going to be in the game, but rather if anything like it is actualy in exsistant thats part of canon, please if you know of one that matches this let me know and try to keep it within the likely timeline (no madcats)
Finaly here it is, the Talos

Sarna also has an entry on the MekTek version.

It's technically non-canon.

What're you talking about? It's totally canon, it is in the game!

Rocket Launchers, LBX20s, and Heavy Lasers all don't exist yet. If you want something that mounts lasers on the arms, and guns and missiles in the torso, I'll direct you to the Mauler.

Well it looks a lot like a Deimos, but that's a later years clan mech. Or a Helios, which is 3058 IS.

If you squint it kinda looks like a Warhawk...

like i said, im just looking for similar hardpoints, not the esact weapons, im aware those weapons as in dont exsist.
Edit: also the missiles arnt in the torso, their in a missile pod (like how a... sigh cant believe im using this comparison... a madcat dose) the balistic hardpoints are in the torso, and the arm has balistic hardpoints as well, along with the infamous anything besides missile hardpoints in the arms...
Edit2: i dont care for the dual system hardpoint in the arms, mainly just energy hardpoints.

For similar hardpoints you want a Mauler, which may be in the game by release since they've mentioned it in the ISN feed a couple times.

A Stalker gives you lots of energy and missile hardpoints in the arms.

An AWS-8R Awesome would give you at least 2 missile hard points, and energy hardpoints in the arms. That might be in game already.

Mauler aparently is my best hope for the closest match, hopefully theirs a varient that can fit 2 SRM12's in its torsos and 2 AC20's (maybe?)
Edit: dual LBX10's would work as well.

The Mauler will be a wildcard and a beast if it's added. It has the potential to load dual PPC + dual gauss, or double AC20 + large pulse lasers. Or it can stick closer to the stock variant as an LRM boat with AC power.

The DVS-2 Devastator has also been mentioned, which is also pretty beastly in stock loadout.

if they do include the mauler i intend to make a monster out of it, dual LBX-10's and as many SRM's as i can fit should make short work of almost anything at close range.
