I knocked out all the personal achievements in one morning. You don't need a new mech for that.

EDIT: While we're on the topic, there used to be {New Mech} vs. everyone leaderboards when new mechs came out. This is nothing new. In fact, it's more something old coming back.

Yeah, it's just you OP. There is nothing wrong with rewarding players for supporting PGI financially, through events. We have plenty of other events.

Now if we can have yet another Founders' event...

Events are a weird thing to complain about... Free stuff for playing the game you would have played anyway..

i like these cumulative events, even if you are terrible you can just play the game normally and let the points stack. there are no cut offs that gate certain players from ever scoring, and if there are they are usually to make sure you actually participated. time wise they are much more reasonable.

what i dont like are long, drawn out, frustrating challenges that take a whole weekend to knock out. if i think it will take over 10 man hours to complete, i wont even bother.

my only complaint is those events that kill cw for the duration. this one doesnt do that, but there were others that did. there was one that had me take out another contract trying to get to rank 6, because the last day on my contract landed on an event, and cw was a ghost town. i only needed like 300 lp but there wasnt a game to be had. couldn't even get ghost drops.

it's just a way to promote the shiny new mechs and thank the ones who bought it. if the event was only available to the new mech we'd have a problem

Also love how we get our Whammy Epeen event before most people are even elited, or the builds have shaken out, meaning the "winners" really don't mean that much......
