Gamemode Suggestion - Lost and Found

Maybe it's been suggested before, but a quick search and I didn't see any topics on it. I suggest a new game mode that would promote close encounters and brawling.

New gamemode "Lost and Found." Two teams land on a map, somewhere hidden on the map is a valuable artifact that both teams are searching for. The artifact is randomly placed on the map every game launch. It forces teams to not camp and to go searching. Whoever finds it has to sit on the location for a few seconds to retrieve it, but then "HAS" to take it back to their dropzone. If the carrying mech is destroyed, the artifact is dropped and another mech can now pick it up.


Those are my thoughts, what do you think?

(note: I personally think this would not work as well on small maps, but is meant for bigger maps; maybe CW maps?)

I also think that when the artifact is found, the other team should be notified. Maybe it also makes the carrier targetable?

Every pug game mode crancks at the point where you benefit from killing other mechs.
So it will again be:

-- Team who deathballs first an most effectively wins.
-- In any case it is most advantagous to first kill the enemy and then do stuff.
-- only possibility to get any game mode realy working as objective centric would be to hand out no rewards for killing or damaging enemys, but thats kind of the point of this game will most ppl say ( I do not concure)

So I voted NO
This game mode will not work much like the other two flavors of skirmish we got.
