Anyone else notice that the guy on top of the leader boards also is top in 3/4 of the boards and is 2nd on the other one?

I don't poopsock PGI's tourneys but I know how they work.

Is this guy some wicked Hammy pilot or I am I just missing something?

Also note a banned cheater using a different name is also on the top 5 of all but the BW leader boards so I assume he only got the basic pack.

I'd be surprised if they managed to earn such scores in the Solo-Q. In group queue it is much easier to pull off, if you got the right teammates. Having said that, the top scorers that I recognize are all good pilots.

Ups and downs to both Qs. I took 14th in a Hunchback IIc board, all solo, 19 matches, while leveling the mech. When you limit it to people that bought the newest pack the amount of competition goes down. Wasn't even going to do that event until I noticed how high I was on the board after 5 or so matches on the last day. I could see somebody getting top 5 in solo, don't know if anyone has, but I could see it happening.

I noticed the same and wondered if some nefarious behaviour was being undertaken.

However once I realised that the prizes are quite abysmal I stop concerning myself about it.

WHM leader boards? I earned my swag for the challenge the first day and never went back to the page to see.

Banned cheater, cheating to the top 5? Of all the variants? I'm going to go look now see if I can spot who it is, but hints are welcome.

I'd rather they run these leader board events when the mechs come out for cBills because then we'd see who the real top jocks are.

@texas merc: By the logic of your post you are accusing either psichih0lic or extreme alex of cheating, being an ex cheater, or abusing game mechanics. Both pilots do Not need to cheat, nor were they banned for cheating, or changed their name for as long as i know them. Your vague implications and accusations plainly suck.
i do agree that leader boards should be solo only, but as long as group dropping is allowed it is just the way it is. Every participant has the same means to get the scores. Group / lfg dropping may be against your opinion or view about sportsmanship, but it is not abuse or cheating.

lol, psichih0lic is one of the best pilots in the game, and he plays primarily solo queue as a matter of fact.

He just plays the game a crap ton.
