While playing MWO, I have Logitech's ARX displaying on a tablet. Consistently, the #7 core is almost maxed out while the others hover closer to 50%, Any ideas on spreading the loads better?

This game isn't highly multithreaded. There's already a ton of info on things like that here...
I don't remember if Windows numbers the cores 0-7 or 1-8, and if the first 4 are physical and second 4 are logical or if it alternates physical logical physical logical. If core #7 is one of the "hyperthreaded" cores, maybe turn hyperthreading off if your performance is awful.

It is not a big problem, but wanted to run my best.

The game is highly threaded, but Joes' like you and me don't have access to the tools to do better then the "one size fits all" thing CryTek gave us.
Have a look:
I can only assume "job system" and "Task Threads" are two different things …

How do you even get things to stick to 1 core?
If I run a single thread of prime95 it'll show all cores loaded ~25%.

Not that that is an issue for the game, but for Prime95 you'd open up TaskMan, hit the Processes Tab, right-click on "prime95.exe" and select "Set Affinity…"
Or else you could get Process Manager or Process Lasso to "save" any such "settings" from one boot to the next …

I guess what I mean to say is that it's highly multithreaded, but not in the sense that it properly takes advantage of the cores that it has access to. It's one single PID has 74 threads open, but no matter what we do most of the action still takes place in one spot.

I do wonder is the actual Crysis had this issue …
