that would imply melee being added, for which I would gladly embrace a flailing, just to watch a certain whiner cry about it being added!

And then I would have my nova-u with 8MGs... some small lasers, ECM and a ******* sword.

can only assume the sword was meant for non explosive hull breaching, but since I doubt we'll be performing marine actions on warships anytime soon... yeah, I expect I'd be applying mine to the ****** canals of some Madcat mkIIs. ;)

great!

If you haven't already, could you make the other ones into a spoiler, to streamline voting/confusion?

Thanks!

Kudos to Bishop Steiner and ilikerice for such a great topic! I have really enjoyed exhaustively exploring all the camos available.

Unfortunately for me, Twinkleblade entered basically my best idea, way before I was able to finalize all of my designs...

So instead, I will go with my next-best idea; I humbly present for your consideration:

It makes me smile just looking it. But seriously, I think my favorite part is how the base model uses gunmetal; I'd really like to see that option in more camo designs.

My honorable mentions are:

The Phoenix:

The PPC Thrower (my favorite of the fractals):

The Magenta Storm:

More proof that pink can look cool:

My favorite of the WHM-6R(S) scheme, even though the scheme is tragically off-centered:

And a variant of the WHM-6R(S) that reminds me of the scheme on the box of a Robotech Veritech model I had decades ago:

What a great thread and a great community. The Warhammer is such a classic looking mech and you guys have really showed it off. Can't enter because no warhammers, but I enjoyed voting. Good luck to the winner and I hope you enjoy your new Rifleman.

It's great seeing the Warhammer camo's put to good use. The colour combinations you guys have put together are great, some I would've never dreamed of!

As much as I love flashy colors and patterns, sometimes the basics really appeal to me. Something about this paintjob screams "lean killing machine" to me.

It wasn't until I played around with the WHM camos that I actually appreciated all of the colors in the palette. I always thought, "why are there like 10 different blacks?"

But then I realized that some of the blacks are actually just really dark colors (for example Kurita Black is just a really really dark red). These dark-colored "blacks" made a big difference with the fractal pattern. For example, on the orange fire of The Phoenix,it was much better for the dark background "base" to be Kurita Black, as opposed to being Obsidian. The very slight red tone of the Kurita Black made the orange "fade out" much better.

So - thanks a lot for giving us some great camo's to play with! This exercise is definitely going to make me get some more colors, and probably get patterns for several mechs.

(One thing though - my OCD-ness compels me to say that after looking so closely at the WHM-6R(S) pattern, I am unfortunately now very disappointed. I really like the simplicity of it, but for the last two weeks I felt like something was off. After this exercise, I finally figured it out - the pattern looks like it is supposed to be symmetrical, but it's not symmetrical. If you look at it head on, the special stripes on the torso are shifted left by several percent. And the stripes on the left and right arms are not in identical places. Unfortunately, now I can't unsee the unperfect symmetry.)

Loving the work you put into it! And really can't wait to see how the Spirit Bear turns out!

And Rifleman. And Archers.

As soon as Rifleman is released, will be doing another such thread with either a Kodiak or Archer Pack ($20) attached.

Bet you never expected to see a Strawberry Shortcake Warhammer though!
