Hi guys wondering what the chances of a in Game radial GUI being added would be, basically the main issue i can see in this game is there are no quick and easy directions for lances and the whole team..

Alot of players don't seem to use voice chat and really are confused or silent the whole match.

What i'm thinking is something along the lines of battlefield franchise.

Obviously this is just intended to show the idea, MWO would need others.

Where a squad mate can issue and order/help/direction instantly everyone can hear and see the direction instantly and can follow it.

Personally this would be useful in Quick match but almost mandatory in Faction wars in my opinion and would help the newer players and vets alike to no end.

Just an idea, hope everyone is in agreement.

Agreed. Anything to make giving commands or quick responses easier. It's annoying typing things out all the time. I'm a quicker typer than most and I still don't like having to spend 3 seconds typing when I could pick a set response in 1.

But yes, as Generic Internetter said, LET US VOTE! Posted Image

I would support this as well. Right now, the only interface for Orders is the BattleGrid, and only if you assume some kind of command role. Non-command players have no way to communicate on that interface, and providing them some set of controls would help Commanders greatly. Plus it would also cause that interface to be used as a lot more than just a map, which it is currently only being used as most of the time. Posted Image

Sure, there's the chance that too much information could come in on that map at once. The same could be said of just having a list of field chatter. But not having it at all definitely makes things a hell of a lot tougher for players to coordinate, and it most certainly puts too much pressure on people to go download an extra voice chat client that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. Heck, it would be nice if we could splat things in view the same way that the Tutorial Command NPC (Captain Adams, I think their name is?) is capable of, floating the pointers just a short distance above the actual terrain. And then there's waypointing, which players are sorely in need of for guiding to avoid problems. Posted Image

(p.s.: BTW, a poll to vote on would be very nice!)
