Look i am unsure how the ISN news Flash is handled at the moment but just some thoughts

1) make it like a news ticker that scrolls from right to left at the bottom of the screen. you can click on a news title if you want to read further.
2) A filter option on what type of news you want to recieve
3) User generate news. Example a merc corps could have an in game RSS feed(which only the leaders can add content to) and you can add it to one of your many news feeds you already recieving. And since their will be a filter option people not intersted wont recieve it.

I think this will be great for the community element of MWO. and for people to follow whats happening in their faction or merc corp in game and on a real time basis.

I think something like that at the top or bottom of the Mechbay loadout screen might be neat.

I don't know.. kinda hard to filter user generated content in game..
But it gives some life to the game. =]
