I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and now that I have reinstalled MWO I'm crashing when hitting the Play button. I get a series of system errors stating:

"The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I hit ok and get the same error message but for MSVCP100.dll .

I ran the repair tool but it didn't find any errors.
I reinstalled MWO.
I updated to the latest video drivers (Radeon 6850) I could find.
I installed the latest Visual C++ Resditributable (2010, 2012 and 2013 are all installed now) I could find.

That is indeed for Visual C++. The proper version and proper installation definitely matter. Try installing it from here: http://fix4dll.com/msvcp100_dll

Also, you have to have directx installed, which can be found here: https://www.microsof...aylang=en&id=35

Two versions, 86x (32bit) and 64x (64bit) systems. Make sure to reboot and run Windows update. When you download it, it will give you 3 files to check to download. No need to download the one marked ia64 as it is for Itanium systems.

Reinstalling the Visual C++ Resdistributable 2010 from the other thread (which I missed when looking for solutions originally) solved the issue. Appreciate the responses.
