I don't recall PGI ever touching the Timber's hitboxes, so I don't know what you're on about.

Obviously Sigil you never owned a TimberWolf when they first came out ? They were the toughest mech in the game with the armor and hit-boxes to prove it I could wade into a group of IS mechs and get min2 kills and max4 per battle it was the premiere brawler or the clans.

Yes it was some skill and load outs also but Im not a OP player just a regular casual player and a brawler in matches that's why I loved the T-wolf now its just a pile of steaming shhitt setting in my mech bays because its almost as bad now as playing a Catapult it dies so fast.

That's why I want the mech I bought back not the POS it became plus why keep buying mechs and packs if PGI is going to nerf them all into garbage?

There are people in this community who want the game to be tech 1 3025 IS only, probably stock only.

Despite the fact that tech 1 isn't even balanced in CBT (you needed battle value to balance it, and even then you could cheat battle value), they believe that the clans are the worst thing that ever happened to battletech. They're still butthurt from when the clans got released in the 90s and broke the game, and they DID break the game back then.

Thats the reason they will oppose any clan unnerfing. Thats the reason they pretend the ER laser range quirks were the only thing the IS had over the clans while they conveniently chose to leave out the smaller details like far better burn time on lasers, heat, and they have massive structure quirks, but those aren't important, so long as they keep everyone believing the narrative that clans are inherently overpowered. They use words like "power creep" to justify their position. Because balancing a clearly underpowered part of the game is such an affront to them that they need to legitimize their rage, so they use big words to trick you.

See their final goal is the removal of the clans from the game. That is what they want. They would see them nerfed into the ground so hard the clans lose all their planets and players and PGI, somehow, despite making a killing off of mech packs, rolls the timeline back to 3025. They live in a fantasy world, and nothing me or you or anyone else will say can change their mind. They'll pretend that the clans are OP until the day they die.

You know who you are.

That would be the power creep, not the hitboxes.
Longer ranged, shorter duration, cooler lasers.

Do some of you not play both sets of mechs? I find that kind of odd. You play a game that doesn't restrict you in what faction you choose, as far as Quick Play goes, and you don't play both? If you did play both, you would realize there's a giant difference in the two, in the current state of the game.

I know I have a Clan Wolf tag, but I nor anyone in my unit play CW. So, I don't want to hear any of that "clanner looking out for clanner mechs" crap. I play mainly IS Heavies in solo and group queue and it's silly how powerful MAD's, WHM's and BKT's are atm. I seriously get upset with myself when I don't go over 600+ damage in them. Now, I go and play a TBR, or HBR and I have to play super ggClose tryhard to break 500+, consistently. And unholy hell, it's not even an remotely close race, in favor of IS lights. FSR's, RVN's, JEN's, and WLF's outclass ACH's in so many departments it's really not even fair. Structured Oxides are hands down the most powerful solo/group queue Light at the moment. Medium mechs, my god. BJ's, GRF's, HBK's, and CDA's muuuuuuurrrrrddddeeeerrrr SCR's and SHC's.

OH, and I forgot QKD's, TDR's and Jester's. GTFO of here with this Clan OP bs. If double armor(Structure), beastmode energy duration and heat generation aren't enough to carry you in a mech, then you really need to start looking at your pleb play and "git gud" as some of you scrublords like to say. There is absolutely no reason to play Clans in solo and group queue atm, outside of Dakka Wolfs and being an extremely good ACH player.

Get out of Tier 3-5 before you start talking and whining about game balance. Most of you don't even know what high level play looks like much less have an opinion that would have a adverse effect on it. Game balance or buffs/nerfs only separate the goods from the bads even further. No amount of game balance will make you not suck at the game.

Flame on about laser, psr, and game balance, because my Ivory Tower isn't going anywhere.
