Only units that are happy right now are those that enjoy beating up on Solos/Seal Clubbing.

Now, I'm not going to suggest that units like that don't exist. I'm sure they do. I'm sure they get their rocks off at the chance to just roflestop skittles. But I am quite certain that the population of those people are in the vast minority.

Most units want organized play, they want their opponents to be organized and coordinated and, well, generally put up a strong fight. If Units were happy, there would be a significantly higher population in CW right now.

But the population remains very low....

There are many reasons why this is the case, but I can tell you this, a lot of units are playing in Public queue (either solo or in groups). Heck, even solo games, I see about an even mix of tagged and untagged players.

So no, unit peeps aren't happy.

As to why you are/were seeing Solos/PUGs as your opponent after you joined a unit is strictly because your unit is going on the Attack (most likely to get matches faster)... and Solos/PUGs tend to make up the defense on any given planet (because they're answering a Call to Arms).

There is absolutely nothing to stop players from simply dropping their units and stomping you with no tags in front of their names.

I could see most matches being a unit against solos, I have seen unit players comment here about rarely seeing other teams.
