Purchased the UAV Upgrade Module (15k GXP) last night for my Raven 3LC... The module does not show up in the list in lab to equip. Made sure my UAV was equipped..etc.

Is this module special in some way to where it slots differently than others? It isn't even on my list... I have tried my other mechs and it doesn't show up either no matter how I display my modules.

I made double sure it was unlocked in skill tree and it is...

Tried searching for this but I seem to only find old questions about the UAV consumable module and not the upgrade...

Anyone?

I think this Pilot Skill just boosts your normal UAV. So: Buying skill -> normal cbill uav is better now. Haven't tried for myself yet but that's what I got reading on the forums.

Exactly, purchasing the upgrade makes the c-bill UAV as powerful as the MC version. You have to buy the consumable itself for 40k c-bills for a 1 time use.

Not sure I follow ... the only UAV Skills you can unlock are the ones to upgrade the Consumable UAV to Advanced UAV (MC version) or Improved UAV (CBill version). There is no Mech Module or Weapon Module for UAV's.

I had this problem with advanced arty accuracy module . Having it equipped took away my consumable arty . It's a bug in the game that pgi have never fixed. You just can't have the accuracy modules equipped at the same time as the consumable for it. It's so broken.

Don't know if that's a similar bug as what your experiencing

The UAV is the module. You need to buy them at 40k cbills a pop. They are consumable type modules.

Edit: Was my understanding at least. Cant check it right now. But am in the same boat, having just unlocked the 15k xp uav range skill.

As we can gather from this Thread, this modules description seems to be something that should be looked over again. Ingame descriptions for things like that need to be understandable and unambiguous.
