****Edit: Took forever but I actually ended up making the channel. Can be found here: https://www.youtube....mNvboGuhv_jigmw **

Hey, just picked up the 25th Anniversary Starter Box, and looks like I'm getting back into Battletech full swing Posted Image . Just wondering who here would actually be interested in a Youtube channel that would do Video Tutorials on the Table Top rules as well as painting guides for the popular houses/clans etc. I'm knowledgeable with the rules although after reading some of the introductory rule book it seems as if a few things have changed over the years. As for the painting aspect I can hold a good Table-Top standard (Base-coat, 1-2 highlights, edge lining, and some weathering). Essentially the videos would show a demonstration of the different rules and how they flow, and the painting videos would be step by step showing how I do things. I would be willing to record a few test videos in the next week or two and see what everyone thinks. I actually already have my Jenner painted up to be a member of a Sword of Light regiment, however I underestimated the excess flash clean up and my undercoat turned out pretty bad. Next one I paint up ill post some pictures and let me know.

Id be totally up for that, hell it might even help me get back into TT. I'd love to get into TT again. Its just hard to find the kits and stuff for it. Wish I wasn't so careless as a kid haha

I learned my painting and basing skills from similar videos. I also look forward to seeing your intro to btech tabletop it's been 15 years since I last played.

Thanks ahead of time for your time and efforts.

I would probably watch. Would love to see some test videos, and if those are good I expect I will continue to watch.

Sounds good guys. Ill try and get the ball rolling right away. Starting off with 2 painting videos then maybe basic TT rules and a mix of both from there on.

First 2 guides would likely be a Sword of Light guide followed by a Davion Crucis lancers guide. The first videos will be done with introductory box set mini's so the overall quality of the painting job may suffer at the hands of the miniature quality. Some of my intro box mechs are pretty clean, others like the Hunchback I got a lb of flash around the entire edge of the model lol. But they will still be more then enough to get beginners into the hobby and pass on some painting tips to those returning or inspire current hobbyists. Ill post up pictures of my finished Jenner and Clint for a quality test.

I would be interested in these videos, especially the ones about rules. I just recently got the 25th anniversary box set and played a game with my friends but we only used the very basic rules. would love videos to help make sure I teach my friends correctly.

I just picked up a new 25th anniversary box set a few weeks ago and I am currently re-learning the game again. Any Youtube "how to" vids on the subject would be a great asset.

There's not much content on YouTube for battle tech tabletop. So I definitely welcome it. +subscribe

I'd definitely watch it; I know the rules pretty well and I paint myself but I'd love to watch anything on Battletech. Expecially to get another person's perspectives and techniques about painting.

Sorry for the super long delay guys, christmas is creating a bit more work for me then expected lol. I have 2 videos shot as of this second but my camera was having some odd focus issues so id like to find a work around before i start the content flowing. I also had to get a game or two in since im rusty as hell lol.

Not gonna lie, I'm actually a little excited. Also on a side note, I really like your signature - I'm a little surprised I immediately recognized it.

I was searching on YouTube the other day for tutorials for BT. Unfortunately, All I could really find was painting guides, people giving an overview of the game, or "reviewing" the starter set. But there was nothing about game play.

What's the status on this? I'm looking to get into a local TT group and I've no skill in painting figurines.
