Except it's not about what "23" other's want. It's what the majority votes for. I don't know about you but I don't typically see a map/game mode getting even 80% of the votes. It's usually quite spread. And yeah, I know many, including myself work at elevating our multiplier in order to later on vote for or against something. But you'll be hard pressed to convince me every single other person is against whatever map I want/don't want as well as game mode. No way.

yeah, you are right. I just wanted to point out that this is no single player game and you have always have to make some kind of compromise.

I for one anti-vote - I look for the map I don't want to play and put my 12x on it. Then people start voting something else and I cancel my vote. So I actually don't do anything. If people would stay at their initial vote, their would be no "trolling".

I still think it should be random like we had before.

Accept we have doubled the player base with the addition of Steam according to the devs so there is very little reason not to bring it back

Nothing will satisfy those new Steam players more than doubling their matchmaking times!

Give up on it m8. The ability to choose your game mode was a feature PGI never should have given us in the first place. It's not coming back.

Double wait time my ***. I primarily only played one game mode previously and I was getting matches in less than a minute, and even now I'm getting matches in the same amount of time give or take a few seconds. Yes, it helped some people out mostly during off hours, but again with more people playing that is going to be less of an issue. The system worked fine for years and there was no reason to change it to the nonsense we have now. If the devs are so concerned with getting people to play all the game modes then they need to get off their *** and make sure the game modes are all something we want to play rather than just force us to play them because they can't be bothered.

And PGI should have also never given us the illusion of voting. Random is the way to go. Posted Image

Still not my preferred "fix", but at least it is a better solution to the crap we have now.

I for one like the new voting system, it ensures you play what you want a lot of the time and is fair for all.

Unlike the last system, where you played the mode you wanted EVERY game...
