On a related note, the WHK-B (besides HGN-IIC-Beta) can also carry the loadout with the same speed:

WHK-B the Clan Atlas

but it has no lower arm actuators to properly hug.

LB-X20 (9 slots), MASC IV (4 slots), & XL Engine (2 slots) won't all fit in the RT... :(

Hmm that's a shame! Honestly I didn't look at the hardpoint (and MASC) locations.

The MASC can fit anywhere (unless they randomly changed the build rules from the Wolverine, which would be a dbag move XD)

It can go anywhere, you'll note there's no MASC hardpoint (unlike ECM).

As said above, Wolvie can put it anywhere.

Arm, or LT, are choices.

Arms for shielding, not MASCing Posted Image

Though arguably, once the MASC has carried you to brawl range, you don't really need it anymore :D

I doubt they will buff MASC enough to want to take it. Bigger engine is always better.

Yep MASC seems like a waste of space and slots. The buffed targeting computers would be a better choice.

Ah. Thanks for clarifying that.

So Spirit Bear Left Torso will likely be 3 Cl ASRM6 (6 slots) XL engine (2 slots) & MASC IV (4 slots)... looks like Spirit Bear ammo will be in the head and limbs...

It isn't, but they tend to be bad shots anyway so they are hoping for help with the spread putting SOME damage on your mech.

LBX synchronizes nicely with lasers in my experience. Single fire doesn't, especially on higher calliber, lower speed ACs

Can't wait to try out this Mech!

1st Clan Hero and has an awesome Native themed camo. I will name my Spirit Bear Pocahontas.

I personally love brawling spirit bears with my as7-s
4 SRM 6 and ac 20 no lasers

If it doesn't have ECM and 160 front CT armor it is hardly an atlas now is it? ;)

The defining Atlas is the AS7-S, not the AS7-D-DC, so no ECM. Both the KDK-SB and AS7-S bring 4x ASRM6 + 1x 20-class AC. The SB has MASC, agility, and a cXL where the AS7-S has agility and durability quirks.

I repeat if it doesn't have ECM and 160 front CT it is not an atlas. :)

I am not being serious though.

Although both the D-DC and the s are very solid, I prefer the S. But there is nothing like the surprise atlas that is so easy to get with the D-DC

Lmao, yeah. When I finish mastering it I intend to put the CT lasers back on so that I am not totally toothless after being sticked. It gets a little warm for my taste without the double basics efficiency

Which one, the kodiak or atlas? IMO the kodiak is probably the best general purpose assault in the game. The as7-s and kdk-sb are the two best brawler assaults with the spirit bear having more mobility and the S being more of tank. But the spirit bear is MC only where the S is c-bills

Wait, you can't pack a UAC20 in that thing? Why LBX20? Posted Image

And UAC20 suck hard. Hot, low velocity, spreads damage all over.
