I was going to make my daily check at bg.battletech.com/forums (the official CGL BattleTech forum) when Firefox warned me that it was an attack site. Does anyone know what's going on?

Don't know, but your not alone, I also got the attack site warning.

Looks like they fixed it now. Apparently there were server issues causing the problem.
