You know what would go great with double xp and double xp/gxp conversion??? Thats right, a 50% off mechbays sale! How did you guess?! (was it because I put it in the title?)

But really that would be great. And it fits the 2x theme since 50% off would be like buy one get one if you buy in pairs. A perfect fit, and would encourage people to buy more mechs to take advantage of the 2xp weekend.

Oh and it would be great for people that just so happened to go crazy and spend 150,000,000 cbills in the last week or so and burned through all of their stockpiled mechbays. I mean, its not like I did that or anything, nope not I.

There are 2 or 3 sales like those every year. They are very short though. They tend to happen in New Year, early summer and sometimes Halloween or Black Friday. The one in new year seams to be the most regular and trustworthy.

Edit: Oh you mean both sales at the same time... Just stockpile on bays when the sale happens, that's what I do. PGI isn't going to be doing bay sales more frequently because bays are on of the ways to get some money from those who don't like to spend on the comparatively expensive mech packs.

Why would you sell mechbays 50% off when you have c-bill mechs on sale? That doesn't make sense, you sell the bays at full price now and half price when there isn't a mech sale or MC only/hero type sale going on.

seems there was just a half off bay sale back in december. you want a lot of mechbays for the lowest possible expense heres what you do:

1. wait for an mc sale, its usually the same price but with some bonus mc thrown in, usually 1500 for $7.
2. dont spend any mc
3. wait for a mech bay sale.
4. buy 10 mechbays.

play a stupid ridiculous amount of cw.

Mechbays get thrown out every third weekend event, is this really a problem anymore?

I mean, back then there were 4 Mechbays and NO way to get more beside buying MC. There were no events, no CW achievements, not even Bay sales.
