...That is its torso twist coverage. How wide is it? Kind of wished that PGI would include such a stat in the pre-order information...

Especially since it's a brawler that will rely on arms for shielding. It needs 90 degrees or it will have problems in its role.

Given that the Executioner with much less firepower has 70 degrees default...expect around that value on your Koala.

expect that? how?

I've been saying this for awhile, but we can't just assume or expect it to be X values in terms of what we're discussing. It's at most a wild guess most of the time.

The only reason I assume you said what you said is because both the Kodiak and the Executioner were made in the same year, that being 3001.

People expected the Exe to be a somewhat sub-par mech before it released, and in spite of its seemingly questionable on-paper stats PGI decided to give it a gimped torso twist radius. The Kodi meanwhile has better stats than the Exe at least on-paper so if a mech like the Exe can get nerfed then a much stronger mech like the Kodi sure can too.

The Executioner honestly needs 90 deg torso twist as well...

You're going to have to balance it somehow. They can make it huge with crap hitboxes or they can make it slow and stiff.

Or they can give it 90 torso twist and no quirks.

I think I would be okay with this or give it the Dire Whale treatment with its energy slots and give it energy cooldown nerfs in the variants with excessive energy slots.

Still, it would be cool with someone tweeted Russ the torso twist question of the Kodiak (I don't Twitter).

Probably. But it's arms should still block a lot more. with their height and design.

The Kodiak is based on a bear.
The Kodiak has jump jets.
The Kodiak can drop on another mech.
