Surprised PGI hasn't nerfed it yet. I mean they're only game company that has successfully nerfed colors.

I really do want the source to what you are referring to with them nerfing colors, sounds interesting to me.

Basically PGI ran a promo with a PC magazine while the game was in beta where you got 3 colors a (red, black, and another that I don't remember) that were really bad *** and a pattern for certain mechs (hunchie, awesome). PGI noticed this hurt the sales of those colors (especially black) so they were nerfed to be less vibrant washed out versions. We'll have to rely on someone else in the community to get before and after shots though since I don't have any before shots.
