I was asking because I have all sorts of flickering and artifacting on my HD 7970s.

In this case it looks Z fighting.
Report it to support@mwormercs.com and attach that GIF. I've got some video at home that I'll send in when I remember to.

The problem is that PGI hasn't taken any care to make the transitions smooth, so it comes looking like that all the time.
I dunno when it started, but I think when LOD adjustments were made somewhere in 2013 to "improve performance on maps" the results stuck like that forevermore.

I posted this textures problem a while ago... today it's not that extreme but I still see some disappear then reappear just by moving a bit.
