Dear Mech Jockeys, inspired by Klappspatens 4vs4 Tournament we are inviting you to our first international Bowling Torunament.
We are a well-established German Unit, participating in various leagues and to celebrate the upcoming of the new small maps we want to offer the community a little treat by ourselves.
We want to offer you a Tournament atmosphere, Full Custom Mechs, Referees, Streamers, a full TS and there might be the some prices waiting for the winners.
1. Basics
- Lance Tournament = 4 vs 4 players
- Date: February 27, 2016 for Preliminary Round, March 05, 2016 for consecutive rounds and finals
- The tournament is created for a maximum of 16 Teams. If more than 16 register for the tourney, attendance will decided at random / by lot.
- Registration via the Public Forum of the Dudes
- The tournament schedule including match times will be published on February 23, 2016.
- The tournament will be hosted on the Teamspeak server of MBO Germany. At least one representative of each team has to be present on the server at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the tournament.
- TS ts3server = 178.63.13.195, TS password = MBOX_T8
- The tournament will use the lobby system by MWO and will be played on the European MWO Servers.
- The game mode for every match will be 'Skirmish'.
- Game time 19 - 23 (UTC) // 11 AM - 3 PM (GMT-8)
2. Organization & procedures
- The Tournament will be organised and hosted by the German unit Dudes Club (www.dudesclub.de).
- Attendance to the tourney and composition of the groups for the preliminary round will be decided at random / by lot
- At least one player of each team has to have Premium Time activated for the team's matches.
- All matches will be supervised by at least one referee. He (they) will comment on the matches and stream them (with delay) publicly. Exact information will be published before the tournament starts.
- During the preliminary round, up to four matches will be carried out at the same time.
- If a disconnect occurs at the start of one match the game has to be freezed (no movement, shooting and so on) until the player in question has reconnected.
- If a disconnect occurs during a match there is no entitlement to pause the game or to demand a rematch.
- If one team violates the weight, Mech or chassis rules presented below it automatically loses the match.
- A match has to be started according to the time schedule given to all attendees. If one team happens to be five or more minutes late to a match it automatically loses the match (4-0).
- The use of insults, cheating or unsportsmanlike behaviour will lead to an immediate disqualification of the whole team.
- The deciding arbitrative board is the referee present in the match.
- After a match is completed, objections can be entered against decisions made by the referee. The organisation committee will revisit the decisions and will give a final judgement.
3. Teams and lances
- Teams consist of a maximum of six pilots (four regular players and a maximum of two substitutes)
- A team's members have to be named by using the players' in game nicknames when registering the team.
- A group leader must be assigned.
- Try to think about a unique team name!
4. Maps
- The upcoming 4 vs. 4 maps expected to be released on February 16, 2016 will be used exclusively.
- Further notice will be given shortly after the new maps are released.
5. Lance composition and Mechs
5.1 weight range of lances
- preliminary round: 145t - 215t
- quarter finals: 145t - 215t
- semi finals: 180t - 235t
- finals: 180t - 235t
5.2 Mechs allowed
- All chassis available for C-bills as of February 27 are allowed to be used. Champion or hero Mechs are not allowed.
- A maximum of two clan Mechs per lance may be used.
- Each chassis is only allowed once per lance & match.
5.3 Equipment, weapons and consumables
- All Mechs to be used may be configured as wished.
- All weapon systems and modules are allowed.
- All consumables are allowed.
6. Tournament sequence and drops
6.1 Preliminary Rounds
- Dog eat Dog, best of 1
- The Team with the most kills wins
Win = 3 Points
Tie = 1 Points
Loss = 0 Points
- Winner is the team with the most points, etc.
- If 2 teams tie, the direct comparison between kills is deciding. If tied again the he winner is decided by a 1vs1 of the two announced team leaders.
6.2 Quarter Finals
- The 1st and 2nd of each group are qualified. 1st of one group will compete against 2nd of other group
- Best of 3, the team with the most kills wins
- If the teams tie, the winner is decided by a 1vs1 of the two announced team leaders
- The winner approaches to Semis
6.3 Semi Finals
- Winners of the quarters
- Best of 3, the team with the most kills wins
- If the teams tie, the winner is decided by a 1vs1 of the two announced team leaders
6.4 Final and 3rd place
Winners respectively looser of Semis vs each other
- Best of 5, the team with the most kills wins
- If the teams tie, the winner is decided by a 1vs1 of the two announced team leaders
7 Prices
1st place, 6.5 mil Cbills for every team member + 4x24h premium time codes to distribute between the team members
2nd place, 2.4 mil Cbills for every team member
3rd place, 1.1 mil Cbills for every team member
