I'd love to take my IIC mechs out for a spin, but they're so squishy without any perks that its not worth the effort.

They're only squishy if you go solo too much.

To be fair, when you can boat 6xsrm6 on a jenner, it *needs* to be squishy... but geez is that thing fun!

Nah when I troll lrms on this baby I go XL200 and get almost 2k in ammo... its a mini Mad Dog! :D

Goes right around 100kph so it is still ok in speed but I can reposition for LRM rain better than the big boys

I have been toying with the pure missile version. Can't settle on one. The 6 SRM6 is a blast, but 6 SRM2 is a fast distraction. So many ways to use this toy.

Is Orion IIC better than Summoner or Ebon Jag?

You should call these clan mechs C2 ..... , not ..... c2. it would be more practical ingame to know if it's an IS or an OP-mech.

With that kind of firepower if you can't handle 1 on 1's, you're doing it wrong.

Depends on the Summoner build, but I don't think people would call it better than the Ebon Jag.
The Orion with the 2x UAC10s is the one I enjoy the most, being probably the most efficiently effective build. Otherwise the thing works ok as a missilestick, since at least two variants have multiple large tube count missile hardpoints.
I just wish the damn things would start having some quirks

I would not expect quirks until they are all out for CB and people buying them for CB have tried them. Jenner IIC might get something in the next few months.

You don't need 6SRM6, you could do 4SRM6 + 2SRM2 with no GH. Me, I kept the speed and went 4SRM4 + 2SRM2. Now the other 3 are problems.

The IICs are not OP.
