I've never posted here before but I felt this was necessary to put out. I had an experience with the group that was extremely unsettling. I'm rather used to some people being less than stellar with their behavior and report ordinarily in that respect but when an entire unit has this level of vitriol I thought it pertinent to bring attention to it.

They were, to say the least, highly antagonistic and made the entire gaming experience very poor. They constantly battered our team with negative comments, calling us bad and cowards among other things. They even taunted us prior to the match starting.

If you're playing community warfare from the clan side I'd highly suggest bringing a 12 man in lieu of trying to play in small groups. Additionally should you meet said unit be fully prepared to receive any number of insults. I hope that this warning will both serve to call attention to their poor behavior, and protect others from having similar issues.

You must be new. NKVA is House Kurita's resident troll unit, you'll learn to either ignore them or avoid them....

I don't find that is the answer. Their behavior is beyond acceptable and no one should have their gaming experience sullied like that. Making sure everyone is nice? Impossible and foolish. Assuring a particularly large group is held accountable? They've done me the solid of grouping together, and if what you're saying is true then finding proof that they need to be tended to is even easier.

You can try reporting them, but unless they were doing something against CoC I don't think it will do much.

Yeah I hardly read what the other side types

But I have heard some major rage against that unit on team speak

I have also seen some unit’s team kill people on their own team when they would not do what they say

With each response validating their poor behavior it makes it that much easier for them to be addressed. So thank you for your contributions.

They aren't even close to the worst, though they are quite prolific. There are some units, and anyone who's been around for a while knows who they are, that consistently berate and belittle their opponents. They are the very essence of toxic. At least the unit you mentioned keeps "most" of their commentary to what could be considered lore. Other units simply do it because being complete @#$@#$ is just how they roll. Sometimes it goes way overboard, but I don't want PGI spending too much time policing that sort of thing.

One or two unit wide suspensions would solve the problem rather quickly, except now they are catering to many of these players with their e-sports tourney. If this behavior gets rewarded expect to see it more often. After all, whats being a good human compared to being an insult slinging laser flinging member of uber unit X?

Well...

Keeping it to LORE is one thing, Saying whatever you want while using lore as cover are not one in the same.

If you cant take it or just flat out dont want to deal with it, there is also the All Chat toggle. Easily used in game.

I've seen a few Steiner units that could use a few bans as well.

Hey if theres other problems- report them for sure! If there are several problem units then start calling them out for it. We as a community can make it a better place.

Honestly this is rather atypical for me. Up to this point I've only seen like, one or two people with negative attitudes and thats not a big deal to me. The only reason I bring attention to this is because its a large, organized group. That seems rather odd that they can persist.

Ha ha yer... Every game has it socially challenged individuals. NKVA provides a home for most of them.

Don't take them to heart. Just remember the tag, focus them in preference to other targets and laugh at the subsequent dummy spit.

Personally I'd accept ANY insult thrown my way if I felt it was in line with lore. The problem being I've read nearly all the books and don't remember any "your momma" jokes. Nor do I remember anyone insulting someone's gender preference, life choices, or physical appearance.

The units, that for some reason we can't name/shame here, that do this consistently are well known, very good(know how to aim te' lazors!), members of the community and only get away with it because there is literally zero enforcement.

Group Que and CW seem to attract those players. I don't find many like that in pug Que. I'm rather skeptical that PGI will take any sort of action against them (unless they've gotten worse lately), but you can always turn off the chat.

I'm not saying I like the way they are, but I don't think they will change, so there's no use in making a big deal out of it. I just realize they are trolls and move on.

If thats the case then thats what I'll suggest to people when I see them in the enemy que. However it'd still be nice if something could be done about them, and other units as well apparently.
