I for one, am looking forward to this mech. Mostly because my ideal CW deck requires one of the Jagers to be 60 tons, instead of 65. Looks like a slimmer version of the Jager, with longer barreled but lower elevated arm hardpoints. The chest energy points are sexy but the chest itself is pretty protruding. Good thing the arms cover that well. Definitely XL material.

How do you like the scale? It really doesn't help that MWO's 60 tonners are all oversized. Posted Image

Do recall that Russ did discuss establishing a volumetric standard (e.g. "X cubic units per ton") for the 'Mech models during the Jan. 30th Town Hall (from 1:48:42 to 1:59:23), and that many of the 'Mechs (with the Dragon and Quickdraw being among those specifically mentioned by Russ) would eventually need to be resized in order to fit the standard.

Presumably, the Rifleman model would already meet this standard, establishing what should be the appropriate size (e.g. overall volume) for a 60-ton 'Mech going forward, yes? ;)

I don't often go out of my way to compliment a mech on its appearance, but damn that is a sexy mech.

I'm more worried about its lack of Armor, i assume max will be 402, but starting armor is insane... I really hope quirks help this thing out..

The max armor on all 60 ton mechs is identical. Armor will only be a problem if you use stock builds, which is ill-advised for almost any mech anyways.

Hitboxes might or might not cause durability issues, but armor won't.

I see it was the Rifleman who ganked and stole my Jagermechs AC barrels in a dark alley one night.

My Jagers want their things back...
